I took this shot of my friends daughter while shooting her 6 month photos. I love this shot, maybe others will not, but I still wanted to share.

    Beautiful shot!

To my taste though, the signature/script to the left is very distracting..maybe something much smaller, maybe toned down to perhaps a shadow/embossed?

Aww, thanks so much for your responses, I really appreciate it. I love the idea of embossing the font, I'll have to try that.

The expression on Tessa's face is one she gives all the time, so I was so pleased when I captured it this way! She's got beautiful big eyes, that she makes sure are wide open all the time (except when she's sleeping of course).

Thanks so much I really appreciate it!

I wasn't sure if others would like the DOF of it and how I overexposed the background a little. Nice to ready that others like the shot.

    Thanks!

I really appreciate the support! I have this picture on my refrigerator (I know, lol), but everytime I walk by it I smile. I just think her expression is priceless. And my friend (it's her daughter) absolutely adores this picture, so that really makes me feel good.

    Thank-you all so much!

As for the added siggie in the bottom. The stencil is from a pre-made brush set (also comes in png) that I purchased from scrapgirls (an online digital scrapbooking site). I then added the drop shadow to it. I honestly can't take the credit for the creativity of the design, but I love the kit that I purchased for little added character when putting the milestone on pics. I create my own also.

    Thank-you all so much!!!

    So precious
About to become a grandparent (albiet we have 2 granddogs...Laughing.gif). What an amazing capture. Look at those eyes...they sparkle. Be prepared...there might be numerous posts of our first grandchild....but I promise to make them premier photographs, not snapshots. Very nice shot. Thanks for sharing!
