    I have a Sony F-717. I use the crippled "Nightshot" mode with a Hoya R72 IR filter and a couple ND filters (Usually ND8 & ND2). It works fairly well. This is my only camera right now so I haven't gotten up the nerve to send it in to have the hot-mirror replaced. Someday when this is my secondary camera, I definitely will.
