The B&W is nice but it doesn't have the dynamics the colored one
has. The colored one seems to have much more depth and pop. My
eyes almost squint because of the bright color as if I was there.
    Real nice,

I like this image - I think I prefer the warmth of the colored version.

    B&w
    Both versions communicate to me.

The lone bird looking 'over his shoulder' is a powerful statement of nature's fragility (statement to me that is).

I perceive this in either version.

    Regards, Nicholas

    Hey ed,

Both are fine but the colored version stands out and catches your attention.

I like both, but if I had to pick only one, I would choose the color.

Was the color in the original shot or was it added afterwards in Photoshop?

Def the yellow one...it looks like a cover for a Stephen King novel.

Exceptional photo BTW. I really wish it was mine...i keep thinking of Pet Cemetery.

I, too, like the colored one best. I would try toning the yellow down just a tad.

And I don't know if I would like that better, I would just try it, it is so bright right now.

But it is definitely the colored one.

I really like both for different reasons.. I think the B&W is beautiful, and the colour is stunning! Depends what you want the viewer to see/feel etc??
