Just a few of the shots of bees on flowers I got at Butchart Gardens. Not anything close to some of the fly one's I've seen posted up recently, but you have to work with what you have I suppose!     Thanks Harry! It's good to be back posting again! The last few months have been pretty hectic, what with getting married and moving to Seattle and all! But things are starting to take on a semblance of normal, so I should be around more often.

    Thanks GraphyFotoz! I love the shot of the bee on the flower. Great job at getting his head in perfect focus. It really draws your eyes to that area of the photo!

    Yeah, about the lens... Trust me, the last thing I need is someone to tempt me into getting a macro lens! If I had a dSLR that would be one of my first lens purchases! Unfortunatley for me, these were taken using my P&S Konica Minolta Dimage G600. It's a pretty decent little 6MP camera, but it isn't exactly made for heavy duty macro work, or heavy duty anything for that matter!

    I did see the pictures that Lord V posted up earlier! They were almost enough to make me not post these up! Lol, something like this looks downright plain compared to what he does!!
