    I like the original. It seems better balanced and the shadow areas help to play up the highlighted foggy areas.

    How about a vertical image?
    ~1.5-2.0 inches cropped from the left (tree) and ~0.5 inch from the right.

    I like the original very much. I like the feeling of depth to the photo, looking across the field, and like the silhouetted grasses in the foreground. The grasses seem to balance the tree, too. Very pretty.

    The original definitely gives the feel of the place, the sense of what it was like to be there. The crops are very nice but just seem like nice sunrise shots.
