    Thanx Guys! thumb.gif
Jury is still out as to which Warbler that is?

Dunno if I like shooting all my shots in RAW? headscratch.gif
That's what I did all day.
PP is a pain cuz I'm not that familiar with RAW tweakage.rolleyes1.gif
That 1st "Warbler" shot was a lil noisey so I ran it threw Noise Ninja plug-in.
Then I selectivly re-noised the bird. Came out real nice!
Did the same with the 2nd bird as well but re-noised the bird and the branch he is on
and the bigger tree directly behind him.
Pwwwwey I'll go back to shooting JPG....I know how to mess with those!:D

Not sure what warbler that is either! You might want to just convert your raw files into jpeg, and then do PP on them. That way you will have the raw files once you get more comfortable with the tools! Just a thought :D

While these shots are all crisp and the backgrounds reasonably nice,
they all suffer the same problem. THe bird's chest is OE. Same with
the white flower. A lot of detail is lost when the bird/subject is OE.

I think you have the lens down with regard to handling it and framing the
shot but exposure is exposure regardless of the lens.
