In fact, if somebody could teach me how to shoot sports better, I'll be grateful for life :)

In my case, I used camera Sports Program, it sets the camera as follows:
    • Auto ISO (100-400)
    • Continuos shooting mode
    • Matrix mettering
    • Continuos Focus (it keeps focusing while you have the button down)
    • At least 1/500s and compensates aperture
My problem is I was framing, lets say QB, when he made the handoff sometimes it worked fine, sometimes the HB or any other player crossed in between the camera and QB, so the camera tried to focus the front player, and when shoot the back player was out of focus.

I missed lots of great pics by this reason, for example:

This pic was a TD after an interception, I got some of the #32 pics in focus, but when #8 crossed, the camera focused at him, and #32 was out of focus. If he was on focus would be a GREAT pic, now its only a "good" almost bad pic.

What settings you use in your cameras? how do you overcome those problems?

yea had the same problem you will continue to have that problem as long as you use automatic focus

I think you got some really nice shots, good action, nice and tight, good expressions. Nice work! thumb.gif
