Look closely at his mouth.....looks almost like a clown! :rofl

A neat flower along the trail almost like a daisy but on a much taller plant.
Dunno what it is but did pretty good hand held with a 3.5lb super zoom with no macro! :thumb

    Here's a piece from today's paper
    Cemetary Worker Discovers Flag Thief
Groundskeepers at Forest Hill Cemetary thought it was kids who were stealing dozens of American flags. That is, until one found a ginat squirrel's nest.

"I was mowing, looked up out into the distance and something caught my eye," said groundskeeper Dave Ender.

He drove his riding lownmower to a nearby intersection and looked up a tree.

"lo and behold, I found the missing flags," Ender said.

They were ripped and serving as the foundation of a giant squirrel nest.

Its bad enough to get a shot of vermin but now its established that they are unpatriotic, flag desecreting vermin. I am shocked.

I'm surprised that someone didn't shoot the squirrel!
Seems to be everyones answer when animals encrouch on man.
When actually it's the other way around.
We to doze trees and build more.....people don't care about Animals or their habitat.....just themselves and their fancy homes.
I had a neighbors once that had some really nice evergreens around their house...nice woodpeckers around and all.
They cut em ALL down cuz the birds were crapping on their new car.
Didn't care that it cost em valuable shade for their home and cover for the birds and other critters.
    It's a shame.....it really is!!
That's why I do wildlife photography....to show those that are so caught up in themselves the real beauty they ruin and miss everyday.
    Like they really care right??

[It wasn't a general comment on wildlife just directed at those unpatriotic squirrels. Most of our wildlife are upstanding patriots like the eagle

You don't see eagles stealing flags. biggrinbounce2.gif
