Here's a few from Burghley Horse Trials one of the biggest horse events in the world,these were taken on the second day, cross country over 6.6km. All shot on manual in very harsh light

    All excellent shots, dont see any room for improvement. Looks like their is alot of variance in the course, great for capturing a nice variety of photos. Looks like a fun place to shoot!

    These are all great Gary. I like your tight crops on these and the poses are thumb.gif. I'm not sure there is too much more you could have done with these in that light. In 5 and 6 the black doesn't look black, you may want to set a black point in those, but then again you may lose detail.

    These were all full frame with 300mmF4L or 200F2.8L

    Hi Gary,

    Looks to me like you manhandled that harsh light!

    The full frame shots look great as does the color/contrast. You must be the busiest shooter in the UK...everytime I look through this forum you've got more shots posted from yet another sport altogether.

    When do you find time to eat?? ne_nau.gifdunno

    It's only a hobby at the moment would love to do it full time if it payed the bills
