Our next door neighbor's dog...a most beautiful Siberian Husky (my favorite). She sat so pretty for the shoot. I purchased a new 50mm 1.8 (Canon) and now I have control over depth of field (YAY). Must have taken 75 shots of her. Here's one:

    Now...I'm going to have to post a shot of the German Shorthaired Pointer pup that we went to Maine to pick up! He is very cute with great markings.

    Very nice shot. Love how her eyes just pop! I just got the same lens and have yet to do anything serious with it. But, I have a wedding coming up. Think I'll have to play with it a bit before then!

    She's getting a little older and has less puppy frenzy stages now that she's two. Trying to get her to sit still last year was...impossible. The owner has her groomed every 6 weeks on the button. I'm going to enlarge and frame it for them...they don't know it yet...ha!

    What a beautiful dog!! Amazing capture of their eye color!! Just wonderful!!

    I just got that same lens yesturday with a new flash.....I was so excitied!!!
    I slapped both on my camera and began chasing my son around to try and take his photo......he was not too happy about moms new toys!! :D
