Bull Moose
My wife and I took an old logging road back into the woods about 2 miles looking for moose. While it was a enjoyable 5 mph ride...no moose.:cry
We had just returned to the MAIN hi-way when we spotted this guy! :clap
The 300 shots we got of this guy made the whole trip worthwhile. This was in New Hampshire near the Maine and Canadian border.

Well, aren't they all??? Nice shot. They must be like deer. Look for them in the logical places and they don't show. Go back to the car and they're everywhere.... Great catch!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Talk about an exposure nightmare! Low light...overcast...dark subject. Glad he hung around long enough for me to change settings and lens. I was so glad I took off the 1.4 TC for the 300. This was 1/160 at f7.1 handheld.
Tone curve for deep shadows.

We don't have anything that big around here. We have to settle for wimpy little ELK!
