I found a gang of these eating nearly all the leaves on a pepper plant n the backyard, kinda' cute really.

    Nice shot. Really hard to get a good sharp picture. What kind of equipment were you using especially the lens.

    Thanks for the kind words. This was shot with a 30D and 100mm 2.8 Macro usm lens, f16, 80th sec., iso 800.

    These are great shots
    I almost ate one of those not seeing it in the broccoli.....eckh....just about died. Didn't eat broccoli for a year, Laughing.gif. You really got the focus on these. Great work.

    I believe that becomes the Spinks moths, which are about the size of a Hummingbird. I haven’t seen one in our yard for several years, and at the time I had a Sony F717. Got a few pictures, but nothing like yours, those are really great.

    I'm not sure that "kinda cute" really fits. Great shots that bring back some nasty childhood memories. It was my job to pull them off the tomato plants in the garden!
