Hello! I had the great opportunity to live in Bogotá, Colombia for a while and was so fortunate to experience the city and culture. Unfortunately the country is not always portrayed by the media in the best light, but underneath that is an amazing country with amazing people.
Anyway, here are some pictures from Bogotá and the Boyacá region. Enjoy!
A different kind of shopping cart in Ráquira.
Down an alley in Villa de Lleyva.
The town square and church in Villa de Lleyva. Some of the architecture in the town dates back to Spanish colonialization, and is still structurally sound today.
A birds eye view of Bogotá.
Pomp and circumstance before the bull fight.
A man and his llama near Puente de Boyacá.
