    Wow! Those are fantastic. I have only seen nesting Hummers once and that was in a small enclosed garden attached to a building where I worked. To actually find them in the wild and be able to photograph them them seems amazing to me. To have the photos come out like yours is . . . well fantastic.

    Thanks for all the kind words
    I was very blessed to have witnessed and photographed two nests last year, this was an amazing experience I will never forget, the day the chicks fledged I was left with an empty but at the same time enlightened feeling.

    The chicks left the nest on easter Sunday, when I got there they were gone but not the memories or the pictures.

    I find myself amazed by these shots, everytime I look at them I see my babies....lol, 4 weeks of photo heaven.

    I have many more to share, I'll put some more up for all to enjoy, thanks again.

    I love the feeding shots. In fact, all of them are not what I would expect from hummer shots. They are very good and capture a completely other side to them. We tend to fixate on catching them in flight, but these focus on a completely different aspect of the hummer.
