    IMHO the level of grain with the blur/soft focus is just a bit to much.

    i agree...either soft or grain or a better mixture? my eye is straining for detail...

    Meanwhile, your grain seems too "digital". Did you add some once the film was digitized?
    have a quick look at my portfolio (there's a photolog, too) :: (11-07-2006) experiencing a new flash portfolio. What do you think?

    the grain is all film, though you never know how much influence any digital processing has on film, unless you darkroom it for comparrison. Best Jerry ps this is a crop and smaller than I wished, but any bigger and a distracting image would have appeared on one side of the girl.
