Window Dressing

My son's Cabaret was doing a show for a downtown street festival yesterday. Caught one of the girls from the show in the shop window and thought it was an interesting shot. C&C welcome.

    Don't you hate that reflection? rolleyes1.gif The setup is great, but damned that glass for being so shiney! lol

    Seriously, i've run into this problem several times before, especially with Christmastime in Chicago (Marshall Fields windows come to mind). Sometimes you can eliminate/lessen its impact, other times you can't.

    It's a solid exposure though :):

    Good, fun capture.

    A polarizing filter would have reduced the amount of glass glare, but I think in this case this is not necessery as the photo does want to show this is the window exhibit.

    Some small points: try using skew on the image to make the base of the window level. Secondly - you've cut her hand!
