What I did on my summer vacation by Botanist:

:rofl

anywho, I spent a week in Door County, WI this summer. Beautiful place, it's the penninsula of Wisconsin for those of you who haven't been there before. I personally believe it would be better to visit in the Fall (and Winter after a big snow fall) but alas it was mid-summer so I couldn't control that :):

We stayed in Sister Bay (for those who know) but hit every major city (Fish Creek, Ephraim, etc) for photography's sake. We spent quite a bit of time at Penninsula State Park as well.

Here's a snippet of the pictures. I've decided only to put the really good shots (or the ones better than a 3/5 in my made up rating system) onto my site which is why there are far fewer shots than I took (~380).

C&C welcome. :):

I really like the color composition of #3. The greens in the water really seem to blend in well with the texture of the water next to the sky. Also really like the sunset in pic #5, very nice thumb.gif

The last sunset is also my favorite, but nice perspective on the goat!

The residents of Washington Island can tell you what its like to be snowed-in. I believe it is called "wintering."

Door Co. is a favorite of ours.
