Bzzzzzzzzz 2nd Bee attempt

This time I used manual mode with fill flash to speed up the shutter.

Canon 100 macro f11,1/320 ISO 400 with ringflash set at -1

    I used Photoframe Pro for frames like this one for Fred Maranda for a more traditional look.

    Great bee. Your DOF is perfect, keeping your subject sharp and your background blurred. There are a couple of hot spots on the bee but you would have underexposed the black if you didn't have them. Nice pleasing shot. Was this at Peck Farm? I was there earlier this year and it is a very nice place.

    There are lots of bees and dragonflies around there now.

    I am going to try using my Kenko tubes with the 100 macro to fill the frame more next time. My main concern was getting the bee in focus today.

    Excellent Macro, It looks like the leaf can barely support the bees weight.
