believe me, its uuugly! ugly sky, 95% of detail of lighthouse was gone and everything else was blahh! What I did was, I was shooting in JPEG to save card space and I had backed off on everything in the cam settings, zero color, zero contrast, zero sharpening.. so it was really an ugly shot. it looked good to the eye and i thought it might make a good backlit shot. After downloading it, i took it into PSCS2 and was adjusting the levels and the flag "Popped" and as the LH faded into complete shadow! I then applied a cooling filter to the sky and just touched up a few spots in the foreground with the clone tool and bam! Another shot saved!
