i've always been amazed by people who can get this kind of effect & clarity in terms of mini-waterfalls/streams/creeks/etc. Got any tips? :):

Yeah... Multiple tries...lol actually, this is one of two shots... this was with the on board flash and the other without... i liked this one because the moss on the rocks was more lit up. I used the 30D in TV mode, 17-40L with a Hoya HMC CPL filter and used my Manfrotto mono pod ( the one with the little legs) and just used a nice slow shutter 1/6 i believe) We were deep in the woods up there and it was kinda dark.. not night dark but overcast! I believe the CPL did the trick. then in editing i darkened the water in the pool a bit as it was an ugly rusty brown color and looked really bad!
    thats it. hope it helped!

Actually an overcast day is when you get the best captures of waterfalls. The colors stand out more. I was wondering what that is in the upper center of the picture. I know that it is a rock but almost looks like a round mirror. My eyes went to it even before I looked at the waterfall itself.
