Shot at the Don Valley Brickworks in Toronto. Had to crawl underneath a fence to get in but was worth the effort! Used a 20D w/ 24-70L.

It was definately worth it for you to bypass that darn ol fence to get a shot like this.
What did Cinderella say when she left the photo shop? "One day my prints will come."

Yes, the sunrays add to the overall lighting/concept/theme but overall it is a wonderful composition. Very good work!

If you ever decide to reshoot, I suggest you try the "Navajo trick".
When the tourists are approaching the famous sun beams in the slot canyons, like this one:
the guide simply throughs a few handfuls of dust in the air :-)
I think if somebody would simply jump around the floor for a minute or two, it will create a great ray-catching media :-)
Great image anyway!
