Just wanted to share my LULU calendar success with you guys!
They arrived today! exactly 2 weeks after they were shipped as promised (I was stressing for a while there and had to re-check the dates!)
They are quite good, but there is a hairline stripe down the left side of all the photos - but I'm still happy with them as I suppose you get what you pay for ..... ! The cover printing is not fab either, bit black and splodgy, but still respectible.
I try to compare them with what I would pay for in the shops, but in this case I have my own pics and my own birthday's printed in there too.
Oh - and I stuffed up a few of the birthdates in there too - my own bloody fault! stupid!. I'll have to do an addemdum!

and last but not least - I have to say a huge THANK YOU to Andy for all his help. He let me post the proof to him in NYC to look at and gave me advice on what to do with the various pics to make them look a tad better, and needless to say I would not have had these prezzies here before x-mas if I had to wait until the proof got all the way to Australia as well! So THANK YOU heaps Andy. The time and effort you give this site and its members is inspirational and truly appreciated. Thank you.

Merry Christmas to ALL the dgrinners and their families!:D

Kate, that is a great way to share. The photos look great to me. I wish I could buy everyone's calendar and make a wall of them,rolleyes1.gif Can't, but am so happy to see them.

Maybe at some point I will get mine out, lock up the dogs (no paw prints) and take a photo like that. I think Andy did, yet I did not think to.

I am so glad you are happy with yours, I am, too. I don't compare with the store ones, I don't want one of those. I get one, a nice one, from church, I buy for $28.00 a "personal" one of Corgis from all over the world. My dogs are in it, so are the dogs of my friends. One for every day and extras. I get one free from an old pharmacy I use. I had to buy a store one, for some reason, last year, and I have not liked it at all.

I certainly should have enough calendars this year.

And people are getting presents from us who would not have otherwise. As far as Shutterfly, et al. I do use them for things. But I could not have bought calendars there, in bulk, for my whole family for Christmas. I would use Lulu again for things like this.

    I agree, Thank you, Andy.
