Bluebird
It's been a while since I took a bird shot that I liked. Today I managed to spend a little time with and eastern bluebird who posed for me a bit.
I managed one shot of this Oriole as well. He was in the shadows and this was almost entirely lit by my flas unit.
I hope you enjoyed them.
Thanks for looking.

Good captures.
I have been trying for years to get a shot at one of the Orioles that feed in my yard. If I open a door, even a door on a different side of the house, they fly off. In August I managed to get a couple of pictures, but I wasn't really close enough.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Yeah. Some birds don't want to sit still enogu to get oa good shot of.
Nice find! Haven't seen one like that in a while!
Camera: Nikon D80, 18-55 f3.5 stocker & 18-200 Nikon VR.... with a small collection of filters..

I would love to post more often but I have had a hard time finding time for my photograpy. I have been (Cover your ears Harry) working 70 hours a week since June.
I squeeze it in when I can.
It really helps me get through the day to peek in each evening and see what people are shooting, so thank you all for sharing yours even when I dont have time to comment.
