Fiery Sunset

The wilderness next to Pyramid and Casitas lakes next to Hwy 5 has being on fire for several days now. This weekend started Santa Ana winds, which brought the fires much closer to us. Being very unfortunate, as any fire is, it also delivered some unique sunset colors for yours truly...

Bush fires can be quite devestating, but boy do they help create amazing sunsets. Great collection, the second and third are standouts for me.thumb.gif
    May I take your picture?

    Thanks!

Yeah, when those fires are getting closer than a couple of miles I become worried. This one was still in the wilderness thus far. However, Santa Ana winds are no joke (they are no Katrina, but broken trees are fairly common) and now that they have started to blow no one can predict how it turns out. ne_nau.gif

Wow, just incredible... wish I had that kind of view around here. Oh wait, maybe I don't, then I might be subject to the fires! :D
