Gotta be my best bird shot ever!
After all the awsome Hummer pics I have seen here....
I've been wanting a top quality Hummer pic of my own all Summer....I finally did it!! :thumb

The more I hang here the better I get and the more I learn too! :wink

Thanx HarryB for being a inspiration! :harry

I love humming birds. GREAT Shot. They are very hard to get a pic like that w/o spooking them. They sure don't sit still long snough to get them to pose.clap.gif

Wonderful shot! The flowers are beautiful and really make the shot. clap.gif

I shoot hummers too but unfortunately I don't have any flowers, just a feeder. I gotta visit a friend who has hummers and a hummer garden too!

Here is my best one so far. Canon 20D and 100 - 400 IS L lens.

    Awesome
    Beautiful Capture

So beautiful in fact I would break some of my boundaries for PS post editing if it were my image. The only thing that detracts a smig from the superb capture is the geometric shape of the buildings in the background. I would try to mask the back ground seperated from the for ground bird (which I love because it is not centered) and flower, and blur it more until in fact the buildings lose the geometric angles.

    Just a suggestion.

    Other wise brillant!!
