to Hide an album

Is there any decent way to make an album no longer avaible? I don't want to put a password on it, I simply just want it to not be there for anyone expect "ME" :)

Here's the deal: I have a 60 day purchase period for my customers. If they don't order within 60 days I'd like the album to expire... no longer be there, however, I don't want to delete it. Some of these take me days to upload. I have a re-activation fee if they go beyond the 60 days and it just looks bad if I put a password on it versus it just being gone.

Any clues how I may go about this? Hey boss! How about a HIDE option right under the PUBLIC option?

You could always create a new gallery with a similar title and make it private, then move all the images there. The only way anyone would see it is if you gave them the URL specifically, or were crafty with reading HTML source code. Just an idea!

If they had the URL in the first place, making it private won't make it inaccessible. You can:

    1) turn of printing
    2) select all, move to new gallery, that is private
    3) make it passworded

    I hope this helps!

yeah, if they had a url, private doesn't make a difference, true.

How about making a sharegroup, giving that link, and removing the sharegroup after 60 days?

    hmmm
Thanks for all the suggestions. I'd sure like to see and option in the control panel that would give us the ability to turn an album off... or even a date textbox giving us the ability to expire an album. Once expired the customer would get an "expired album" message. No THAT would be fancy :)
