How many dolphins do you see?

This shot was an absolute freak of nature. Me and a mate were crusing around Noosa National Park about a year ago when we saw 2 dolphins surfing a wave. We got the zooms out and were all in position on a cliff, when suddenly about 12 appeared to surf the next wave! :barb
This only happened once for that wave and did not happen again for the rest of the day. And for me to be looking at it through my viewfinder with my zoom on while it happened just totally made my day!
Enjoy!

Looks like a possible contest entry to me. More in synch than most of the entries I have seen.

What a sight that must have been, the most I have seen is about 4 off the bow of the Queenscliff to Sorento Ferry.
Man they ride those waves with the greatest of ease, and always appear to have smiles on their faces
You were in the right place at the right time for sure
Thanks for sharing this amazing shot........ Skippy (Australia)

:skippy Everyone has the right to be stupid, but some people just abuse the privilege :dgrin
Amazing creatures they are.
Nice capture too!
Thanks! I was thinking if I did just crop the top and bottom and do a little post processing it would smarten it up significantly. Any recomendations for friendly competitions I should check out?

I should have been more specific. I was thinking of the DG contest that ended this morning. Too late now. Theme was Syncronicity. Sorry.:cry
