Man this is one elusive/shy bird to get pics of!!

Did my best as this guy just plain didn't wanna be seen. :huh

    and I was looking to ID that pecker for you....to my surprise it really IS a yellow bellied sapsucker! Fun shooting!

    Yupper....just looks a bit tattered cuz he is loosing his breeding plumage for the winter.

    Yupper....just looks a bit tattered cuz he is loosing his breeding plumage for the winter.
