Oh, I just reread your post. If you mean what looks like a stick to the left of the eye is what remains of his velvet from his antlers....and definitely belongs.

yep it does but you really have to look to what that is the stick in the forground leads your eye to the velvet and turns it to a stick :cry photo magic --great shot even with the velvet stick
I guess I was within about 50' some of the time. :uhoh

Ric, this is a very nice shot with very good details and tack sharp. Some times things get in the way, but as I say we take what we can get at times. I prefer to leave things the way they were taken, and try not to edit out parts of the image with the clone tool.
