My favorite basebal player

I shot this in 1988 in Bradenton Florida during spring training. He actually did hit a homerun on this swing. I shot baseball for several years during the late 80's and early 90's. Out of all the hundreds of players I shot, this guy (Barry Bonds) is the greatest ever in my opinion. Not too many people have seen my baseball pictures as most my friends aren't into sports unfortunately. Some of my shots, however, did run in a publication called Baseball America.

    Great shot!

Not much of a Bonds fan but it's a great picture none the less.

Love the shot Ron thumb.gifthumb.gif I have seen that same pose, from the 1st base side a number of time :D Although he was wearing a white and orange uniform.......Laughing.gif

Barry is one of my recent day favorites also. My alltime fav is his godfather, Mr Mays mwink.gif Roids, or no roids. IMO, he is one of the most entertaining players to watch over the last 20 years. At 42 he is still a "player".

Nice work and I'd love to have a nice 13x17 of that one up on my wall wings.gif

Here are a couple more. By the way, before Barry, my favoite was Willie Mays and Willie McCovey (actually all three are still my favorite.)
Kirby was also a great player...
