PSE4 -> smugmug

Ok, I know PSE5 will send directly to smugmug, but what about PSE4. For example, if I have group of photos taged and want to just send those to smugmug, what is the best way to do that? Some of the photos will be jpgs and some will be psds.

The best way? Well that would be upgrade to V5. If you don't want to do that, no problem - you can upload your jpgs, just fine, with any of our available uploaders. http://www.smugmug.com/help/upload-pictures

I didn't really want to upgrade for $70, but it looks like that might be the most logical thing to do since I'll often want to upload pictures that are in 10 different folders and opening each folder in Windows Explorer and then dragging to the smugmug uploaded would be a pain in the ass.

Some steps for PSE4

• Select desired images in the organizer
• File/Export
• Choose JPEG as the file type and choose the JPEG parameters (e.g. quality level 10) and an output directory
• This will create a set of JPEGs all in one directory
• Create desired gallery in Smugmug
• Use any one of the Smugmug uploaders to upload the JPEG contents of the directory to the appropriate gallery
