Camera Clubs, Unite! :)

Hi everyone. I'm tasked with building a web site for one of my local camera clubs. Our site is at http://wcc.smugmug.com (still under construction, and not many photos). I formed a SmugMug community CameraClubs to try to get other Camera Clubs to share their sites.

I'd like to invite any camera clubs or camera club members to join the CameraClubs group, and please post a link here to your site on SM; I'd love to take a look at what ideas I can "adapt"...

But it's not really a smugmug customization thing. I'm moving it over to the big picture.

Thanks for the help Mike, I wasn't exactly sure where this should go, as it was both an announcement of the new community, and a desire for me to learn how other camera clubs have customized their SmugMug sites.

I don't know. I work with a number of area camera clubs, but almost everyone has some kind of web site already. Perhaps I can persuade them to change, but I can't be web master for other clubs too, just no time.

I desgined our club's main site (http://www.wallingfordcameraclub.com), with the intention of SmugMug hosting our photos. After seeing some of the customization work others have done, I think I might be able to integrate the content from our main site into SmugMug pages. Time will tell...!!

lol yeah thats true na that club was important president was a photographer doing photos for calanders and hold exhibitions of amature photographers
But now i am joining proper club in Islamabad the Islamabad Camera club i will keep my mouth closed this time

I've heard of similar things happening at a lot of camera clubs. Too bad. Their loss.
