Ah man, you get to have all the fun
What a great shot. I've been dreaming of a day to get to a place where I can shoot city over water. Stunning image Andy. It looks like the same location Shay Stephens shot from??? Wow, San Diego, Manhattan, Seattle....going to rent a helicopter and fly over Minneapolis....oh wait...we're going in a hot air balloon on Saturday.....now, timed exposure will be tricky.

Super shot as usual Andy. It's always a treat to see your work.

That's beautiful, Andy. Any toning, or just curves?

    Hi Sid, thanks.

Nope, no toning. Blended three exposures from one single raw file.

Hi Antonio, it's one raw file, developed in three exposures, and blended in Photoshop.

    Thanks!

Beautiful. It's got a kind of purple mountain's majesty to it, but they're man-made mountains.

Man, that's incredible. I have it open in an extra browser window so I can look at it every few minutes.

The photo is even more powerful for me because I just finished watching Ric Burn's amazing documentary on the history of New York.

I'm going to NY for a family vacation by the end of October, and this photo only contributes to my overall anxiety...

Hey Andy, how usually is the weather during Halloween in NY? Any special recomendations for shooting (and visiting) places that are off the beaten path?

    cheers
