Retro,
Nice pictures you have here.
You used the DOF in the 1.st one and you captured the pollution on the second one with a large DOF.:D
Strange, pollution this way, in a country like Norway ...
I want to go to Norway too :cry
Great captures, I like the first one a lot, because of the vivid colors, and the subtle out of focus area on the back, I think this is not a DOF right? or it is one?
Anyway, good job

thanks for the comments!
The out of focus areas in the first one is done in pp, experimented a bit since i thought the background was a bit busy and didn't want to crop. Decided to keep it since i thought it was a interesting effect.
No pollution in #2, (or very little at least) I wouldn't hesitate to drink that crystal clear mountain creek water..the redish colour are probably from the sand bottom and a bit of iron + the light reflecting in the water..
Very nice, I really like the first. Did you use a gaussian blur in the BG?
Dan
Thanks for the comment Dan. I used a photoshop filter called "digital Film Tools 55mm - center spot" However I guess all it does is gaussain blur with a round gradient mask. Could easily been done without the plugin.
Great pictures and lovely colours, retro! From where in Norway are they taken?
btw, you live in one of they most beautiful cities i have ever been to. Visited Stockholm in June and was guided around by a friend who lives there. Maybe i'll post some pictures in the Journey forum.

I'm not sure i following you?
This fact looks strange to me in Norway where people are much concerned about environmental issues.

The second pic colour in the water, is it from a peat bog? Might make a nice whisky...
