I always admire nature photographers for their patience, especially when it comes to getting shots like this, good job.

I agree with Stephie, to be a wildlife photographer must be hard.
Patience and a lot of skills to capture those special moments with those creatures that are completely spontaneous.
Great capture thumb.gif Love it :D

This is a little different than the normal bird shot, I like seeing the surrounding landscape which is so beautiful, even though we don't see a close-up of the bird. Great shot, Ric! thumb.gif

Good one Ric. Being further away give you a sense of the environment of the bird. It works very well in this shot.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Patience can run thin too...I need to do more landscapes...feel like I'm in control, and relax a little.mwink.gif

Nice one Ric. I also like seeing the beautiful scene, this would have be a fine landscape without the GBH :D

One thing about being further away is....it sure is a lot easier to follow them in flight.
