Looking for Canon 500D close-up lens

Besides B&H where can I get a good price for a 77mm Canon 500d closeup filter/lens? None of my local shops seem to have it in stock so I need to locate it online. TIA

That link is for a 58mm, not a 77mm diameter 500D, so the prices may not be accurate.

What are you going ot use the 500D for? It is rather heavy, an extension tube is lighter and maybe easier to use. I use both, but find myself grabbing the extension tubes, rather than the 500D usually, unless there is a specific reason to use the 500D.

The 500D works nicely on a 70-200 zoom.

I will be putting it on the 70-200vr for some almost macro shots since it will not at 1:1 I think I will get 1:1.5. The 70-200 is already pretty beefy as it is and getting a 105vr is not in the cards at this time. I figure that this way I can get my feet wet with macro without sinking in a ton of cash into it.

Thanks Andy I added 77 to the search box and only 3 companies came up. Guess it's not a popular item once you get to the larger diameters.

I have a 77mm 500D that I don't use since finding a dedicated macro lens. I'm away from the computer for the day but back tomorrow afternoon. I'll check back again then to see if you're still looking for one and would like to work out a deal.
