I love this shot for some reason! And it was only meant to be a 'test' of my new lens - Sigma 18-200. I think it's certainly worth the $379 I paid (B&H online).

Camera is Nikon D200. EXIF info on the photo is available in the gallery.

Thanks :) Yes, that's Call of Duty 2. I've only played a few parts of it since I've been working on Perfect Dark Zero first. I just got the Xbox 360 a few weeks ago. I had the original Xbox awhile ago but I sold it.

Thanks. Yeah it just happened that the table turned out to be very close to the color of her hair. Purely an accident! :)

Nice shot, are the lines on the Perfect Dark picture on the original or are they artifacts? BTW, hi neighbor, I'm not far from you (Columbus, IN)

Hi :) The lines are part of the plastic cover that slips over the metal case that the girl is printed on. It's metal because it's a special edition I guess. Normally the whole thing would be plastic. But yeah, those lines you see are from the plastic cover.

This is an updated photo without the plastic cover on the game. Still playing around with the new lens. I used a custom white balance on this one too. Measured white balance using a white piece of paper.

I learned this lens isn't great for macro or tripod work if the camera is facing down. The lens tends to creep from the gravity.

And I couldn't help point the camera at myself in the mirror too :)
