How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    D80
Overall it seems like nice upgrade to the D70 and I would consider it as a backup to my D200 except for one thing. (Well two things if you count available cash).

It uses SD memory cards! Does any other Nikon DSLR use them? Is SD the future direction?headscratch.gif

The D50 uses SD cards. I'm guessing that Nikon is going SD for its "entry level" cameras.
