Just a tip, try not to start too many thread all at once. Especially if all the pics are of a certain topic, like "chicago". Instead place them in posts in the same thread. It's the polite thing to do as it allows for more people to have a thread on the first page and might save you some ire from other dgrinners.

The bean is photographic enigma. No matter how many times I shoot it I never get quite what I was looking for. It's always a suprise. I shot this in July.

I just love the Bean. Last time I was in Chicago they were polishing it, so I couldn't get a clear shot, but I'm looking forward to shooting it again in the next couple of weeks. It's hard to miss getting an interesting shot. I think yours is the first night shot I have seen of it. Very nice.
