OK, it's a Benz alright...
The owner may love them, but in this case you better ask him/her...
Is it suitable for the "Car and Driver"? Sorry, I don't think so...
What are you looking for?
thats why im asking for some tips, pointers
Hate to pull my own plug, but - do you mean it to be looking somewhat like this:
very very nice shot
i wish i could do like that
Thanks!
The image above was made from this:
As you can see - it's all in your mind (and in how good you are with PS:-)
I found out that there are few things generaly helpful when shooting cars:
- Remote location to avoid any unwanted reflections - they are hard to clean out
- Polarizer to futher control the reflections
- Wide angle lens (I used EF-S 10-22 at 10mm on my-then Canon 20d, effective 16mm)
- Non-trivial angles, bold tilts
Hope this helpsill keep that in mind
thanks
Hi there, I see Nikolai has helped you out with the WOW factor shot
I don't know much about cars either I tried one similar to Niks by mixing two shots together, one a sunset and the other the car.
Taken with a Sony F707 ...... Skippy (Australia)

Now if you'd only play with LAB to match the car's finish to your bold sunset red and gold - it would be "da bom" !
This was back when I had no clue all I did was cut one picture out and put into onto another picture......... not that have any clues now but Im sure if I dug out the two shots I used and tried it again it could be done better.
I had Photos Shop Elements 1 back then Skippy (Australia)
