Heron and a Gull

For me getting these guys with a decent background ain't easy. It's hard enough to show any detail in a low contrast bird like the GBH, let alone to get some contrast with the background. Here's one that was okay in that respect.

Of course this gull wanted to know why I would be taking the GBH's photo and not his...

    Both are great captures Rid but I like the Gull the most. Well done.

    Hi Ric, nice captures. I really like the Gull shot with a nice back ground that makes it stand out a lot.

    Both are great captures Rid but I like the Gull the most. Well done.

    The gull is a better shot but the heron is the one I want...only better detail.
