This black crowned night heron did a fly by this evening. There are about a dozen of these birds living in the trees out back.

Don't hate me because I have birds in my backyard and I shoot them with a 200mm lens.

I guess there will be a bunch of folks coming to this area for the shoot the first 2 days. I should be able to hide in somebody's trunk and get up to the shoot. I'll be sure to bring my big gun...the 200mm. If you come ..and make it over this way (Sun Coast)...maybe I'll reserve a spot on the boat for a guided tour if you are interested.
