Way to allow purchase of originals?

Hi, I'm working with a friend who does various events(Walkathons, etc.) and i'm seeing about being able to work as a photographer.

He wants to include in his website a way to allow someone to view the images, and then pay money to download a copy of the image. So I'm asking you guys, Does anyone know of a way to integrate this into a website, either through smugmug or some other way?
