Shot this over the weekend while at a birthday party, then been photoshopping it today.

Original

Photoshopped attempt one

Photoshop attempt two

Just after some feedback on the photoshopping, have I gone over the top?

Rob.

I think the original image is my favorite of the three. However, that being said, the other two do have a sort of "neon" look to them. But, I don't like over-photoshoping successful images. What do others think?

I also like # 1 best, might also try coloring/burning the lower right corner of lights.
    Best regards,

I like #1 too, except for the white source of light in the lower right side, it distracts from what you were going for.

Ok, so the original, cropped a tad, with the bottom right darkened.

Just my opinion, but I like it better with the shaft of natural light. I also don't see a true black anywhere. I think it would help it pop to bring down your shadows a bit. There's a good entry here either way.

Shoot, or shoot not. There is no try.

#1 lacks punch ... #2 has too much ... somewhere in between #1 & #2 would be nice.
