Drag Racing panning attempt

These are some pictures from drag racing in Bristol a few months back. It was getting dark and so I was forced to use slower shutter speeds and had to pan (I'm really not good at panning). These were all taken pretty high up away from the track so they're not great.

Your were up there. The angle is something that you don't see & I think that's why it works for me. Like the last two the best. good job

Try getting lower and closer to the action. Keep the zoom out so you can frame the car when its right in front of you (instead of zooming in on it at the starting line) You got the idea, but changing your location will greatly increase the results! A blurred background is better than a blurred track surface.

I think you are on the right track, good panning and keep shooting.

Panning
Good shots, 2 and 3 are definitely from an angle I don't see much.
I personally like to frame the car/bike full frame for panning and work with 1/100 to 1/80 shutter speeds.
