    glad you like it-noticed in another thread that you are taking first steps in IR-why not save time and money and fiddling around and get a second hand mavica 500-you can "live view" compose using the 2.5 inch screen and autofocus works fine-the zeiss zoom is also quite wide and fast at the equivalent of 32mm @ f2.0.in very bright conditions you can also auto focus at the telephoto end.
    it dosent have an IR cut filter -so there are no modifications needed-just screw on your R72 Hoya,manually white balance off a white card or 18% grey,compose,focus and shoot.

    being in florida you should be able to shoot fairly decent IR during your winter (dry season)
