wow those are soo cool, i love macro because you can see all the little details that you can't normally see in bug and flowers and everything. great job!
Looks like you got quite a handle on shooting macros, m' man!

Your car sure is the popular hang out for insects isn't it. I'm not sure if I'm more amazed at your photos or your ability to identify the insects you shoot. Have any tips on the IDing of bugs? I've had a terrible time figuring out what I've seen and shot.

Think I've finally worked out the popularity of my car- It's just a lot easier to spot bugs on it.
As far as Iding bugs- I do have a couple of smallish bug guides for Europe/UK- these are normally enough to get an Idea of the family and then I often just use the web after that.
I also use this site a lot for difficult IDs http://www.diptera.info/news.php but you have to "join" first (free) although it's primarily aimed at flies they are good on other bugs as well.
After you've been doing it a while you do tend to get the hang of separating the major groups.
