An Osprey getting buzzed by what I believe is a juvenile peregrine. (I did not know that I got him in the shot until later)

And a fluffy egret. Took these at SJWS this evening.

No fair! You're only allowed one species of raptor per shot rolleyes1.gif. That is pretty light on the Osprey and I like it's pose a lot. That egret in golden light ain't to shabby either.

Thanks guys for your comments! There was a crow that was heckling the Osprey earlier, and that's what I thought buzzed him. The Osprey took off after that. Later once the sun wasn't working anymore the young peregrine, or merlin landed on the limb. Merlins aren't supposed to be here until winter that's why I think its a peregrine.

Great work Glenn. Both are a real piece of art.

I like the 2nd the most.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Great shots, Glenn. The two-fer is very special. However, you might try cloning it out in a version. The falcon tends to draw the eye away from what otherwise is one amazing osprey shot. Golden light, and as sharp as can be.

Thanks Joe! I did think about cloning out the intruder, and maybe I'll do a second version as you suggest. It was just before sunset I was shooting wide open. It would have been nice if both birds were sharp. :D
