Don't know if we can call these wildlife (as they are domesticated) but fits with nature.

    I like'em have you considered trying to lighten the 3rd picture? The shade on the dark horse is really hiding some of the detail there :D

    Thanks Michael & Ric
    I just learned a really cool technique in PS so this shot was a perfect candidate for the fix. How's this one for lightening up the front horse?

    That was exactly what I was hoping that you were going to do... As far as how much lighter/darker one would want to do would depend one's mood that day.... I think this one is spot on for my tastes thumb.gif. What method did you use? The way I would have done it is (off the top of my head) is

    1. Select a portion of the shadow area (marquee, lasso etc) you want to lighten (this also works with darkening)
    2. Select --> Similar (This should select similar colors)
    3. deselect anything that you do not want to tweak (I use the lasso)
    4. Select --> Feather (choose anywhere from 20-80 may need to experiment)
    5. Select --> Save Selection
    6. Layer --> Adjustment Layer --> Levels (After this you should see a mask appear)
    7. Tweak the middle slider left to right depending on how dark/light you want to make it then overdo it a little (i.e. make it a little too dark or too light) then click OK
    8. Now adjust the opacity down to taste

    Very nice! I especially like the first and third.
    I would crop the top of the first, I find the top left corner distracting. Just my opinion tho.
    Nice work!
