Sigma announced the 4 new four thirds mount lenses. I was very excited to hear this news. An excerpt from the press release says:
"The new Sigma lens line-up for the Four-Thirds system comprises the large aperture wide-angle 24mm F1.8 EX DG ASPHERICAL MACRO, the compact telephoto zoom lens APO 135-400mm F4.5-5.6 DG, the large aperture ultra-telephoto zoom lens APO 300-800mm F5.6 EX DG HSM and the large aperture zoom lens 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC MACRO. The introduction of these new lenses increases our lens line-up for Four Thirds mount to a total of eleven models."

Also, Leica announced two new four thirds lenses as well. Their press release says:
"they have also announced the Leica D 25 mm F1.4 Four Thirds lens. Because of the Four Thirds sensor size these two lenses produce a field of view equivalent to 28-100 mm and 50 mm on a 35 mm camera."

As an Olympus four thirds user, I am very excited that more options are now becomming available for that mount. So the major lens manufacturers now make the following number of lenses for the four thirds mount:
Olympus/Zuiko - 15 lenses
Sigma - 11 lenses
Leica/Panasonic - 2 lenses
